Danger of GMO Food

With the precautionary principle in mind, because GM foods have not been properly tested for human consumption, and because there is ample evidence of probable harm, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) asks:

  • Physicians to educate their patients, the medical community, and the public to avoid GM foods when possible and provide educational materials concerning GM foods and health risks.

  • Physicians to consider the possible role of GM foods in the disease processes of the patients they treat and to document any changes in patient health when changing from GM food to non-GM food.

  • Our members, the medical community, and the independent scientific community to gather case studies potentially related to GM food consumption and health effects, begin epidemiological research to investigate the role of GM foods on human health, and conduct safe methods of determining the effect of GM foods on human health.

  • For a moratorium on GM food, implementation of immediate long term independent safety testing, and labeling of GM foods, which is necessary for the health and safety of consumers.

    Genetically Modified Food Alert

     Among the population, biologist David Schubert of the Salk Institute warns that “children are the most likely to be adversely effected by toxins and other dietary problems” related to GM foods. He says without adequate studies, the children become “the experimental animals.”

     The experience of actual GM-fed experimental animals is scary. When GM soy was fed to female rats, most of their babies died within three weeks—compared to a 10% death rate among the control group fed natural soy. 

    The GM-fed babies were also smaller, and later had problems getting pregnant.

     When male rats were fed GM soy, their testicles actually changed color—from the normal pink to dark blue.[5] Mice fed GM soy had altered young sperm. 
     Even the embryos of GM fed parent mice had significant changes in their DNA. 
     Mice fed GM corn in an Austrian government study had fewer babies, which were also smaller than normal.

     Reproductive problems also plague livestock. Investigations in the state of Haryana, India revealed that most buffalo that ate GM cottonseed had complications such as premature deliveries, abortions, infertility, and prolapsed uteruses. Many calves died. In the US, about two dozen farmers reported thousands of pigs became sterile after consuming certain GM corn varieties. Some had false pregnancies; others gave birth to bags of water. Cows and bulls also became infertile when fed the same corn.

     In the US population, the incidence of low birth weight babies, infertility, and infant mortality are all escalating.

    Understanding the body's pH and Alkalinity

    Cancer cannot survive in an alkaline environment even if it's inside your body. We begin with an introduction of Dr. Carl Reich and Robert R. Barefoot, biochemist.

    Robert Barefoot has an extensive background as a biochemist specializing in nutritional health research. He has produced a large number of scientific publications on the body's pH and its relationship to degenerative diseases and health. He is one of the authors of The Calcium Factor, along with Carl J. Reich, M.D., and wrote Death by Diet at his wife's request to reduce the scientific language to terms a layman could understand, and so understand the main elements of disease and how to change it.
    Originally Dr. Carl Reich came to Robert Barefoot to find out why, when treating his patients with calcium deficiencies such as arthritis, unusual things were happening with his patients' health problems. Their diabetes disappeared, their cancer disappeared, and he asked Barefoot, "What am I doing?"

    In 1981, Robert Barefoot and Dr. Carl Reich began intensive medical research into the relationship between disease and nutrition. They were astounded while reviewing medical and scientific libraries because thousands upon thousands of publications written by world renowned scientists and doctors showed that disease and nutrition are in fact related. They confirmed that it is common knowledge that disease could be prevented and cured by diet and that doctors and the public have very little knowledge regarding these issues. There is massive scientific evidence proving all the claims made within their publications, which can be verified at your library or from publications on the Internet.

    Dr. Carl Reich and Robert Barefoot also found, as people get older they become deficient in nutrients. They state that one usually thinks a good diet would keep you alive, but apparently it's not what we do eat, it's what we don't eat. These deficiencies cause your body to become very acidic, which triggers cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's, heart disease, etc. This is explained molecule by molecule in the publications.

    Dr. Otto Warburg (twice a Nobel Prizewinner) and Robert Barefoot are together in their thoughts that most diseases are caused by the body lowering into an unnatural deadly acidic state. Every researcher knows that, so why don't doctors alkalize their patients? Well, most doctors don't know how to alkalize a person because they only get a few hours of education on nutrition. The bottom line is the research is available, and we do know how to properly feed the body and alkalize it.     Remember, EVERY time Dr. Warburg put a tumor into an alkaline medium, it would die within seconds. According to Dr. Warburg, to kill cancer all you have to do is make your body . . . ALKALINE by taking certain supplements and by following some commonsense health rules. The basic elements or minerals for raising the body's pH are calcium, magnesium, potassium and other trace metals, as well as vitamins and water.

    MSG - Slowly Poisoning America

    John Erb was a research assistant at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and spent years working for the government.

    He made an amazing discovery while going through scientific journals for a book he was writing called 'The Slow Poisoning of America.' In hundreds of studies around the world, scientists were creating obese mice and rats to use in diet or diabetes test studies. No strain of rat or mice is naturally obese, so the scientists have to create them. They make these morbidly obese creatures by injecting them with MSG when they are first born. The MSG triples the amount of insulin the pancreas creates, causing rats (and humans?) to become obese. They even have a title for the fat rodents they create: 'MSG-Treated Rats.' 

    So, why is MSG in so many of the foods we eat?

    Is it a preservative or a vitamin?? Not according to my friend John. In the book he wrote, an expose of the food additive industry called 'The Slow Poisoning of America' he said that MSG is added to food for the addictive effect it has on the human body.     explains that the reason they add it to food is to make people EAT MORE OF THEIR PRODUCTS. 

    The MSG manufacturers themselves admit that it addicts people to their products. It makes people choose their product over others, and makes people eat more of it than they would if MSG wasn't added.
    Not only is MSG scientifically proven to cause obesity, it is an addictive substance! Since its introduction into the American food supply fifty years ago, MSG has been added in larger and larger doses to the pre-packaged meals, soups, snacks and fast foods we are tempted to eat everyday. The FDA has set no limits on how much of it can be added to food. They claim it's safe to eat in any amount. How can they claim it safe when there are hundreds of scientific studies with titles like these?

    Basics of Cancer

    Basics of Cancer = Acidosititis / Acidosis

    Let us explain by starting here. The American Cancer Society states that one in EVERY 2.5 people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime. It Doesn't HAVE to be that way.

    99.9% of the population of Licensed Medical Practitioners have failed to be provided with a key bit of history. Intentional or not makes no difference when it comes to a loved one that has just been diagnosed with cancer. Time to get on with it and educate ourselves.

    Here is a beginning:

    Acidosititis / Acidosis is the scientific term for a body that has become acidic. When your pH is below 7.0, you are in a state of acidosititis, your system lacks oxygen, you age at an overly accelerated rate and you are more susceptible to disease. Extremely low pH is the cause of America's #2 killer ~ Cancer.

    In order to understand the scientific proof for the avoidance of cancer, we will attempt to explain briefly how scientists map the workings of the body.

    The fluids outside the cells within the body ideally have a pH of 7.4 - 7.5 (i.e. they are alkaline). this fluid enters the cell, is depleted and exits the cell now having a pH of 6.8. The action of fluids going in and out of the cells at these levels and creates an electrical charge of 70 mili-volts. If the body cannot create this electrical charge it dies. It is essential to life for nutrients to be converted into electricity. Absent this charge, and the brain cannot communicate.

    This charge is reliant on a trigger mechanism composed of a couple of nutrients. If these nutrients are lacking the body must use its own stored-up supply. Alkalinity level goes down, oxygen supply decreases and the body becomes susceptible to many illnesses including all cancers.

    Over 75 years ago, Otto Warburg was awarded two Nobel prizes for his theories that cancer is caused by weakened cell respiration due to lack of oxygen at the cellular level. According to Warburg, damaged cell respiration causes fermentation, resulting in low pH (acidity) at the cellular level.

    Dr. Warburg, in his Nobel Prize winning paper, illustrated the environment of the cancer cell. A normal healthy cell undergoes an adverse change when it can no longer take in oxygen to convert glucose into energy. In the absence of oxygen, the cell reverts to a primal nutritional program to nourish itself by converting glucose through the process of fermentation. The lactic acid produced by fermentation lowers the cell pH (acid/alkaline balance) and destroys the ability of DNA and RNA to control cell division. The cancer cells then begin to multiply. The lactic acid simultaneously causes severe local pain as it destroys cell enzymes. the cancer appears as a rapidly growing external cell covering with a core of dead cells.

    Otto Warburg won a Nobel Prize for showing that cancer thrives in anaerobic (without oxygen), or acidic, conditions. research by Keith Brewer, PhD and H.E. Satori has shown that raising the pH, or oxygen content, range of a cell to pH 8.0 creates a deadly environment for cancer. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with numbers below 7 representing an acidic condition and above 7 representing an alkaline, or oxygenated, condition.

    Cancer cells live in an acidic environment, but perish in an alkaline, high Ph, environment. Although many diets can help you alkalinize your body, nothing works as fast as Cesium Carbonate or Cesium Chloride.

    BPA Found in 91% of Canadians

    A research report from Statistics Canada found that the chemical Bisphenol A is in 91 percent of the Canadian population. Based on a two-year survey from 2007 to 2009, the Statscan report measured exposure levels to over 80 chemicals. In the Canadians tested, the survey documented a mean BPA concentration of 1.16 micrograms per liter of urine sampled. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 had higher concentrations than adults over 40. Teenagers had the highest levels. It was the first time bisphenol A had been measured nationally in Canada. In the study, BPA was measured in 5,476 respondents aged 6 to 79 at 15 sites. For each respondent, a face-to-face interview was coupled with urinary analysis. General demographic and lifestyle information were gathered during the interviews.

    Bisphenol A is used mainly in plastics. Exposure to the public could come from many consumer products like polycarbonate baby and water bottles, cash register receipts, and tin cans. Some research studies indicated the chemical could cause problems with brain development in infants and children. Other studies have investigated a possible connection to cancer. Over two years ago, Canada banned BPA in baby bottles.

    While it may be distressing to learn BPA is so widespread within a large number of people, some encouraging information also was revealed by Dr. Rick Smith, executive director of advocacy group Environmental Defense and author of a book called “Slow death by rubber duck.” According to Smith, “[t]he average BPA molecule is flushed from the human body in less than six hours. If we can just get BPA out of a few key areas in our lives, levels in our bodies will come down very, very quickly.” Limiting contact with various products known to contain BPA could reduce levels in the body.

    Canada is moving toward listing Bisphenol A as a toxic substance. The chemical has been temporarily banned by the government of Denmark.
